On the square in front of the house there are a few restaurants and cafés, offering a small but pleasant choice for dinner or a quick coffee.
Right outside the accommodation is the tram stop, which takes you to the Old Town or Basel SBB railway station within minutes. Basel-Mulhouse Airport is also close by, yet far enough away that aircraft noise is not an issue.
